We provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which combines counseling to address the psychological aspects of addiction with the use of prescription medication to ease the symptoms of withdrawal. Methadone clinics vary in the types of medications they offer, but at Volunteer CTC, we can prescribe methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone, depending on a person’s needs. Our staff also offers individual therapy, giving patients time to meet one-on-one with a counselor to discuss their experiences, track their treatment progress, address any concerns, and learn coping skills that can help them manage their addictive behaviors.
