About Sussex County Comprehensive Treatment Center

Sussex County Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a premier provider of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older. Our outpatient treatment center serves adults who are struggling with addictions to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids. Medication-assisted treatment is a research-backed approach that uses prescription medication and counseling to promote long-term recovery from opioid addictions. At Sussex County CTC, each patient receives a prescription for an FDA-approved medication that has proved effective in treating opioid use disorder. The medications that are available as part of MAT will vary across clinics in our network but may include methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, Vivitrol, and Sublocade. At Sussex County CTC, patients receive medication to help relieve the physical symptoms and cravings that can occur during withdrawal from opioids, along with individual and group counseling sessions.
