About Downtown Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center

Conveniently located in Portland, Oregon, Downtown Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is an outpatient opioid addiction treatment program for adults age 18 and older. We utilize medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which has decades of research supporting its effectiveness. MAT combines talk therapy with the use of prescription medication, offering a truly comprehensive approach to the treatment of opioid addiction. Some methadone clinics can only offer one type of medication, but at our CTC, we can provide prescriptions for buprenorphine, methadone, and Suboxone. Each patient takes part in an assessment prior to beginning treatment, and the results of that assessment help determine which medication is best for them. We also offer individual and group therapy, which gives patients time to meet one-on-one with a qualified counselor and in a group setting with others who may be experiencing similar struggles. The support and encouragement people receive during these therapy sessions can make a lasting positive impact on their ability to achieve and maintain sobriety.
