I’m out the other side now
Where the light is brighter
and no mist covers my eyes
I see far into the horizon
of possibility
and far behind me
across bridges long burned
I have grown
into a formidable tree
of knowledge
Pain and struggle
were its fertilizer
and love held its
bows in place
I’m out the other side now
to my next purpose
in my space upon the Earth
