About Evansville Comprehensive Treatment Center

Evansville Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Evansville, Indiana, is a medication-assisted treatment program for adults age 18 and older who are battling addictions to opioids. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) combines talk therapy with the use of prescription medication and has proved to be highly effective in the treatment of opioid addiction. At our CTC, we are able to prescribe methadone, Suboxone, naltrexone, and buprenorphine, while many methadone clinics are only able to offer prescriptions for one type of medication. These medications alleviate the symptoms of withdrawal, which can help prevent immediate relapse. By taking these medications, patients have the clarity of mind necessary to actively participate in the therapeutic aspects of treatment. At Evansville CTC, we offer group therapy and individual therapy. Individual therapy involves one-on-one meetings with a counselor where patients can process their experiences and develop coping skills that can help them throughout their recovery. Group therapy gives patients time to meet with other individuals who may be struggling with similar challenges.
