About New Castle Comprehensive Treatment Center
New Castle Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment for adults age 18 and older who are battling addictions to opioids. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is a method of treating opioid use disorder that combines the use of prescription medication and counseling. At New Castle CTC, we offer prescriptions for methadone, which is an FDA-approved medication that works to alleviate the distressing symptoms of opioid withdrawal. By reducing these symptoms, individuals are less likely to return to their use of opioids, which can allow them to participate more fully in the therapeutic process. In addition to prescribing methadone, we also provide individual and group therapy sessions. These sessions are designed to promote ongoing sobriety by offering support and encouragement as patients develop the coping skills necessary for managing their addictive behaviors. Conveniently located in New Castle, Pennsylvania, our CTC is the ideal place for patients to begin on the road to recovery.
