About Christiansburg Comprehensive Treatment Center

Christiansburg Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment for adults who are battling opioid addictions. Combining the use of FDA-approved medication and evidence-based therapy, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) has proved to help people overcome addictions to opioids. Unlike many methadone clinics, our CTC can provide prescriptions for multiple medications, including methadone and buprenorphine. These medications decrease the discomfort associated with withdrawal, which can help prevent future opioid use. We also offer counseling services to complement the medicinal part of MAT. During these sessions, patients can meet with counselors to process their experiences, discuss their concerns, navigate their emotional turmoil, and track their treatment progress. They may also have the opportunity to meet with other patients who are going through similar challenges, which can help them feel a sense of community and give them the support they need to be successful in their recovery journey.
