Located in Triadelphia, West Virginia, Wheeling Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers clinically excellent care for adults who are struggling with addictions to opioids. We provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which combines counseling with medication to help individuals achieve success on their road to recovery. Many methadone clinics only offer prescriptions for one medication, but our CTC can prescribe methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, or naltrexone, depending on a patient’s needs. These FDA-approved medications help alleviate the distressing symptoms of withdrawal, which can ultimately prevent people from returning to their use of opioids. As part of their treatment, patients also have the ability to participate in individual and group therapy. These counseling sessions can be extremely beneficial, as they give patients an opportunity to process their experiences and address the psychological and behavioral aspects that may have contributed to their drug use.
